Preventive sick pay is part of the regulations for sick pay. It is a compensation that an insured person can apply for when they need to refrain from work to undergo medical treatment or rehabilitation to prevent, shorten, or lift a reduction in work capacity. Preventive sick pay differs from regular sick pay, which is compensation that the insured can apply for when they have a work incapacity due to illness. Investigations, analyses, and collaboration
In the role of insurance investigator for sickness insurance, you are responsible for effectively processing and investigating applications regarding preventive sick pay. The work is investigative and requires you to often conduct investigations and analyses of various materials from healthcare, individuals, and partners. You make independent decisions in the cases by applying legislation correctly and legally, and you are responsible for calculations and ensuring that the correct compensation is paid out on time. You document continuously in cases and justify decisions, assessments, and positions in an understandable way. Contacts occur via phone and/or mail, characterized by attentiveness, respect, and a desire to create security and understanding for sickness insurance. At times, the work pace is high, requiring a well-structured work method and the ability to prioritize.

Preventive sick pay is concentrated at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's offices in Malmö, Helsingborg, and Ystad. You collaborate with your colleagues both on-site and digitally. You actively work to develop your knowledge and share experiences and competencies.

As a new employee, you will receive introductory training and support from a mentor. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a strong security awareness.

A number of positions, permanent, full-time, with start date by agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
