Registrar at the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority

The authority is growing, and we are expanding the team with a registrar. Are you a service-oriented and meticulous registrar with high integrity? We offer you a job where you, in collaboration with other competencies at the authority, will have the opportunity to develop and streamline routines to meet stakeholders' demands for an efficient authority. You will work daily with record-keeping and document management and be part of the signals protection organization. Furthermore, you will ensure that the authority's documents are handled according to applicable legislation. The work includes supporting the archive with certain archiving tasks. You will assist case officers in the release of public documents. Coordination related to the release of personal data may also occur. As a natural part of the job, you will have contact with operators and the public, as well as provide training in case and document management, support, and advise case officers and managers.

We are looking for someone who has

  • a completed upper secondary education or equivalent education
  • several years of experience working as a registrar in public administration, preferably at a government agency, or other experience deemed equivalent
  • knowledge of laws and regulations governing public operations
  • experience working with case and document management systems
  • experience working in record systems
  • basic knowledge of personal data handling
  • good IT skills
  • good knowledge and ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • basic knowledge of English.

It is advantageous if you have

  • experience working with classified security tasks
  • experience with Public360 as a case and document management system
  • experience working in signals protection systems
  • post-secondary registrar education or equivalent
  • experience working with registers of personal data processing.

The role of registrar with us involves many points of contact and collaborations, which means you need to have very good collaborative skills. You will handle information that requires protection, which means you need to have good judgment and high integrity. To succeed in the role, you need to be meticulous and structured. You should also be service-oriented and enjoy providing service to the public, operators, and the authority's employees. Finally, we see that you should be flexible and development-oriented since we work in a growing authority where we need to review and develop our working methods.

Employment conditions

The employment is a permanent position starting by agreement. The employment may begin with a six-month probationary period. The place of employment is Solna. Travel in the service may occur.

Some of our tasks are placed in a security class, which means that a security check with a register control according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is also required.

You may be part of the authority's crisis organization and may also be assigned to the authority in the event of war. The crisis organization performs radiation protection assessments and nuclear technical analyses and collaborates with other relevant actors to manage radiological emergencies, including situations of heightened preparedness. Within the framework of the crisis organization, you will be part of the response readiness that the authority maintains to support other actors in society with radiation measurements.
