The Center for Information Technology and Medical Technology aims to work long-term and modernly with the right capabilities to deliver and realize the region's needs for development, system management, operational technology, and IT infrastructure.

We have about 300 employees and are represented at the region's three hospitals - in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå. We provide all forms of technology to support the entire region and, in collaboration with them, contribute to the digitization of healthcare. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT technician with us, you will work in a team responsible for the region's information platforms, reporting to the responsible technical project manager. Your mission is to ensure stable platforms, information security, and continuous development towards automation. We work closely with infrastructure and development teams to maintain and develop the region's IT environment.

The tasks are broad and include, among other things: Developing and managing the region's information platforms, providing technical expertise and support, e.g., platform development, issue management, license management, and troubleshooting. Supporting projects with investigations and implementations where IT knowledge is needed. Investigating and streamlining information flows, contacting external suppliers, and working with processes regarding roles, identities, permissions, and security flows.

QUALIFICATIONS

As an IT technician with us, you provide important service and enable efforts that affect many. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and who possesses a commitment and a desire to work on improving infrastructure, security, and digitization in operations using digital technology.

You have a relevant academic education in systems/computer science or, as we assess, other equivalent competence. You have a good foundational technical competence. You have the ability to listen, analyze, and build trust and engagement at all levels of an organization. Experience and knowledge in platform development/management are advantageous.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, curious, and have a service-oriented attitude. You are clear in your communication and build trust with people both internally and externally within the organization, suppliers, and other stakeholders. You are proactive and self-driven in your work.

Experience with agile working methods is advantageous.
