At the Social Administration in Enköping Municipality, we work together to help the residents of Enköping who are in various difficult and vulnerable life situations.

We have close management and are constantly actively working on the development of our working methods. As a foundation in our approach, we have chosen to use Motivational Interviewing (MI) for those we serve. Part of our management structure involves working in cross-functional teams between departments. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

One of our valued employees will be leaving, and based on that, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to join us in the exciting transition based on the upcoming new social services law.

We are looking for a social worker to join our reception team who will work with processing incoming matters to the administration. The work includes making preliminary assessments in child and adult cases and providing advice, support, and services to citizens and partners. Part of the job may involve being the face of the organization, educating and informing about social services to other authorities and private individuals.

In your daily work, you will closely collaborate with our outpatient care and other parts of the administration to provide early support and work preventively.

We prefer that you have experience in handling both child and adult cases.

You need to be a qualified social worker.

The reception department consists of ten social workers, one team leader, five field workers (including coordinators), and one department head.

We have diverse experience and a strong commitment to the work, always ready to share our experiences with our colleagues and curious about how we can develop our work together.

We work systematically and closely, with quick access to other parts of the administration, the rest of the municipality, and external partners to meet citizens' needs easily.

We have a good introduction for our new employees; those who are new have a mentor in their workgroup, and we work with co-handling as needed in our cases. We offer further education and skills enhancement where all employees are given the opportunity to participate in the Professional Journey, Freda training, and MI basic training.

We use the operational system Lifecare.
