About the position Region Uppland consists of 8 HVB operations and 2 support accommodations, a total of 10 units. In our units, you can meet young people with socially destructive behavior, emotional regulation issues, self-destructive behavior in various forms, risk use, and sexual behavior problems. We are now looking for someone who wants to work extra with children and young people aged 14-20 living in our HVB homes.
We primarily work with evidence-based methods, mainly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), elements of DBT, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
As a substitute with us in Region Uppland, your main tasks will include: - Working according to our treatment methods and the individual's treatment plan - Documentation - External contacts with social services and other authorities - And everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, driving to medical appointments and activities.
Who are you? We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To thrive and succeed in the role, we would like you to have an easy time building relationships and possess good collaboration skills.
It is also an advantage if you: - have experience working in treatment for children and youth - have experience working in HVB homes - have experience with CBT, MI, and/or other evidence-based methods - have experience with documentation and medication management - have a post-secondary education of at least 1.5 years focused on children and youth or are currently pursuing such an education.
Other:
A driving license (B) is required for the position.
You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills are required.
A background check from the Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register for staff at HVB is always required before employment. See here to order a background check.
The position is a fixed-term employment and working hours include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
