Unika Norbyvägen is a group home for adults within person circle 1, with special expertise in clear pedagogical methods, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), motivational interviewing, and low-arousal approaches. The operation offers individual support in a calm environment with six apartments. The goal is to create a safe and structured everyday life for each resident.

About the role of Coordinator

As a coordinator, you primarily work in the operation to provide support and service based on the residents' wishes and to give each individual a meaningful everyday life, based on a pedagogical approach. You will also work with administrative tasks such as scheduling, staffing, quality improvements, risk assessments, and documentation.

You will have close collaboration with the operations manager and maintain close contact with the staff group. Your role will be central in supporting the daily operations of the business. As a coordinator, you will also work in the operation where you provide support and service both at home and in leisure activities, as well as develop the pedagogical support based on individual needs.

The position is 100% and working hours will be scheduled on weekdays/evenings/weekends/sleeping on-call.

Who are we looking for?

You preferably have experience from LSS, but otherwise you have knowledge of pedagogical approaches and how to meet individuals with various disabilities. You are attentive and communicative, and you understand that these will be important tools for a good and clear approach towards both residents and relatives. As a colleague, you actively contribute to a positive and forward-looking work climate. You naturally see opportunities instead of obstacles and have a very good ability to adapt to new situations. You can work both independently and in a team with your colleagues.

Qualifications

• Very good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
• Previous experience in leadership roles and a natural inclination to lead and drive development issues.
• Experience and knowledge of the target group LSS adults in person circle 1.
• Post-secondary education, e.g. support pedagogue, social pedagogue, university education in pedagogy or social work.

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience and competence in clear pedagogical methods, AAC, and low-arousal approaches.
• Experience working with individuals with complex psychosocial behavioral issues.

Employment conditions

Employment form: Permanent - 6 months probationary period applies. Working hours: 100% Working time: Weekdays/evenings/weekends/sleeping on-call. Start date: By agreement, we view positively if you can start on June 1. Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
