Vocational Supervisor within the Integration and Labor Market Administration
The position is located within the Integration and Labor Market Administration, which is one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. Your Responsibilities
The role of a vocational supervisor involves motivating participants in a labor market initiative towards development for self-sufficiency. The role also includes providing vocational guidance to participants and individuals with OSA employment in the work-like activity/daily operations.
As a vocational supervisor, you will have daily dialogue with other management around the participant and collaborate with other actors within the municipality to support the participant in their development. Your assignment includes teaching, guiding, and mentoring both individually and in groups. Therefore, you should be able to communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
You will work with cleaning in our premises, offices, staff rooms, sanitary facilities, and other common areas. Your tasks also include machine cleaning and floor care. Major cleanings and move-out cleanings may also occur.
The tasks with us can be physically demanding. Work is scheduled on weekdays during the day between 07:00 and 16:00. You will be based at Dvärggatan in Tornby, but the work also includes being helpful with cleaning at other locations in Linköping Municipality as needed.
Your Assignment Includes:
- Providing vocational guidance to participants/OSA employees in the work-like activity/daily operations
- Collaborating and having daily dialogue with other management around participants/OSA employees
- Motivating participants/OSA employees towards development for self-sufficiency towards work/studies
- Theoretical and practical competence-enhancing measures for participants/OSA employees
- Planning, execution, and follow-up of the work/assignment
- Ordering materials
- Handling and maintaining machines
- Establishing and updating checklists
- Conducting cleaning inspections and internal quality controls
- Coordinating administration
Your Workplace
The Integration and Labor Market Administration has about 350 employees in the Department of Labor and Welfare (ALF) and the Department of Labor Market Initiatives (AMI). We strengthen the opportunities for residents of Linköping who are dependent on financial assistance to become self-sufficient and independent. Our main task is to work on the development of participants/employees who are in a labor market initiative. The ultimate goal for these individuals is to move on to studies and/or work with or without support in the regular labor market. This position belongs to the Department of Labor Market Initiatives (AMI), unit Services, which consists of three operations: Cleaning Service, Café Vidingsjö, and Nature.

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone with a completed upper secondary education; if you have a completed cleaning education, such as PRYL / SRY, it is considered an advantage. You should have previous experience in daily cleaning, and it is advantageous if you have worked with daily cleaning in a public environment. Since the vocational supervisor will motivate participants towards self-sufficiency, it is required that you have previous experience in mentoring individuals who need extra support. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience working with individuals who are outside the labor market.
A B driver's license for manual transmission is required as travel is involved in the position. Since the role includes collaboration with other management and other actors within the municipality, proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is required.

As you will be mentoring individuals in a labor market initiative, it is important that you enjoy working with other people. Furthermore, you are stable and calm in stressful situations and can maintain focus on the right things.
