Administrator at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, detention centers, and client transport.

The position is located within the operational HR unit, in the section for the headquarters. The section includes a section manager and experts working with work environment and labor law, as well as a recruitment group with a group manager and recruitment specialists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrator in the section, you will perform administrative tasks such as establishing and closing personnel records and sorting at the headquarters' personnel archive. The position is shared and will partly involve supporting the recruitment group with administration related to recruitment records and the release of public documents. It may also involve monitoring mailboxes and some mail handling.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education
• Experience working with administrative tasks
• Good computer skills and proficiency in the Office suite
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience working in archives / personnel archives
• Experience in recruitment administration
• Experience working in a government agency
• Experience working in document and case management systems

OTHER

We have high demands for our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. To work with us, you need to undergo a security clearance in accordance with the Security Protection Act. The position is classified in a security class, and a security clearance including an interview and background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. During the security clearance, you will be investigated as a person, your background, and your relationships from a security perspective.
