School Social Worker at Lillkyrkaskolan and Grillbyskolan
Within the Education Administration in Enköping Municipality, we offer residents high-quality pedagogical care, preschool, primary school, high school, and adult education. As an employee in the organization, you have the opportunity to work and develop in a stimulating environment with lifelong learning as a goal. If this mindset suits you, you are welcome to apply!
Lillkyrkaskolan is located in the picturesque Trögden, about 1.5 mil outside Enköping. Our geographical location provides good opportunities to use the local environment for learning in various contexts. We see it as self-evident that parts of the teaching take place outdoors. At Lillkyrkaskolan, we have students from preschool class up to grade 6. We have about 150 students and we are around 20 staff members.
Grillbyskolan is located in the community of Grillby, about 16 kilometers from Enköping. With its proximity to E18 and national road 55, the school is in a very practical commuting distance from Stockholm, Uppsala, and Västerås. The operation is conducted in a pleasant environment close to nature. At Grillbyskolan, we have students from preschool class up to grade 6. We have about 180 students and we are around 20 staff members.
The staff at both schools are well-educated and share each other's competencies through collaboration in teaching teams. Since the schools are smaller, we have a developing collegial exchange with each other. The strengths of the staff group are that there is great flexibility and a positive attitude towards changes that lead to higher goal fulfillment.
We strive for all students, staff, and guardians to feel a great sense of security and well-being with us, and since the schools are not very large, an environment is created where everyone knows everyone.
