We are now looking for someone who wants to take the next step to develop with us and enhance our work. You will be a key person in Region Skåne's internal environmental work, where you will play a leading role in implementing the Environmental Program for Region Skåne 2030 within the Group Office's operations. Furthermore, you will be an important support for the management and operations of the administration on the continued journey forward. You will join an engaged and wonderful team with a strong sense of community that works together in premises located in the hospital area centrally in Lund (near the train station). The Group Office has employees in Malmö, Lund, and Kristianstad, with most based in Malmö, meaning a significant portion of your working time will also be spent in locations other than Lund, preferably in Malmö.

The position as environmental support is based in Lund, at the Sustainability and Environment unit, which belongs to the Group Office's staff. The mission of the Sustainability and Environment unit is to create conditions to reduce negative and increase positive environmental impacts within Region Skåne's areas of operation based on a certified environmental management system. Within the Group Office's staff, we are about 150 employees, of which a team of currently ten works with environmental sustainability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As cross-administrative environmental support to the Group Office's management and other managers, you will work on breaking down the goals of the environmental program to the Group Office's operations and ensure that the Group Office contributes its part to goal fulfillment. In this role, you will also be responsible for the Group Office's contribution to maintaining Region Skåne's environmental certification according to ISO 14001. Furthermore, you will be the Group Office's representative in the regional environmental network. Since the Group Office has a leading role within Region Skåne, it is important to set a good example, and your contribution is a crucial part of this.

Within the Group Office, there are departments such as Group Staff HR, Group Staff Purchasing and Financial Management, Group Staff Communication, Regional Development, Health and Medical Care Management, and the Group Office's staff. Together with the environmental responsible from the departments, you will drive the Group Office's environmental work forward.

Your responsibilities will also include:

• Promoting continuous improvements in the environmental area through the use of Region Skåne's environmental management system, certified according to ISO 14001.
• Working towards the fulfillment of the environmental program's goals with the help of the Group Office's operations.
• Coordinating and supporting the environmental responsible from the departments in breaking down regional environmental goals and in following up on the administration's environmental work and environmental performance.
• Conducting presentations, lectures, and training as needed.
• Ensuring that private healthcare providers and grant recipients meet established environmental requirements.
• Collaborating to fulfill Region Skåne's green framework, which is a prerequisite for the issuance of green bonds.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you with at least a three-year university degree in, for example, environmental science and ecosystem technology, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of relevant work experience in the environmental field. The position also requires that you have a very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Knowledge of ISO 14001, environmental management systems, and environmental legislation is an advantage for the position.

As a person, you are meticulous and analytical while also having an interest in and good ability to collaborate with and meet different people. You have a clear communicative ability and thrive in an outgoing and networking role.
