PLANNING AND BUILDING ADMINISTRATION

The Planning and Building Administration consists of four departments working with planning and exploitation, environmental and building permits, technical issues, and geographic information.

The Environmental and Building Department consists of eleven employees and is led by the Planning and Building Committee. The position is located at the Town Hall in Staffanstorp, next to the bus stop.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will primarily work with supervision and processing according to the Environmental Code in the area of environmental protection, which includes matters such as shoreline protection cases, individual sewage systems, etc. Supervision in the area of health protection is also included.

The work as an inspector involves many contacts with operators and municipal residents. Our organization is small, and varied tasks occur.

For those who enjoy challenges, there are great opportunities to develop the work in an interesting and meaningful way. We use EDP Vision as our case management system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is goal-oriented, outgoing, and responsible. You have a university degree in environmental and health protection or another education that the employer finds equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience with similar tasks and authority exercises. You have good knowledge of the Environmental Code and the ability to read and interpret legal texts and judgments.

You are skilled at independently organizing and prioritizing your work, and you have a strong willingness to take initiative. Since a large part of the work involves contact with people and other authorities, you must be trustworthy, responsive, and good at communicating in both spoken and written Swedish. The job entails constant contact and dialogue with other case handlers in the administration, which places high demands on good collaboration skills.

Experience working with EDP Vision is an advantage.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
