Do you want to build the frontend for services used by tens of thousands of customers every day?

Are you a senior frontend developer with strong skills in React and Next.js, and do you want to work on both interfaces, structure, and technical decisions? Then you might be our new Senior Frontend Developer at Oderland!

You will join our Development Department, which currently consists of 6 people within frontend and backend development. Together, you will work on the new development and further development of our services and systems. This can range from customer-facing interfaces and internal tools to integrations that connect our services and systems.

This role suits you if you want to take significant technical responsibility within frontend and contribute to clear, sustainable, and usable solutions. Here, you will have the opportunity to influence how we build our interfaces, how we structure our systems, and how we make technical services easier to use.

You will become part of a team where we help each other, discuss solutions together, and value both technical quality and customer benefit. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute senior experience but also continue to develop together with colleagues.

To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have:

• at least 5 years of experience in frontend development
• excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React
• experience working with Next.js
• experience developing frontend in both new and existing systems
• experience making technical decisions and creating clear frontend structure in systems with multiple components
• experience using Linux as a development environment
• good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious, but not a requirement, if you also have experience with:

• a university degree in an IT-related field, such as computer science, information technology, or systems science, or equivalent experience
• experience with Redux or other state management solutions
• technical responsibility within frontend as well as mentoring, guidance, or training of other developers
• experience with Docker
• experience with GitLab and CI/CD processes
• experience with backend and/or full-stack development
• understanding of web hosting, domains, DNS, and related infrastructure
