As a Designer in Building Automation, you will work on designing, planning, and documenting intelligent control and automation systems in buildings. You will collaborate with other technicians and customers to create energy-efficient, safe, and well-functioning properties. Examples of Tasks

• Planning and design in various projects.
• Develop technical solutions for automation in buildings – e.g., systems for ventilation, heating, cooling, lighting, and control systems.
• Create operating instructions and technical documentation.
• Plan automation in projects from the early stages to implementation.
• Participate in design meetings and discuss solutions with colleagues, customers, and other technical disciplines.
• Work often in a group but also independently with own responsibility in projects.
• Create technical specifications and functional descriptions for control and regulation equipment.
• Conduct investigations and calculations to choose the right technical solutions.
• Involved in implementation and follow-up in real buildings to ensure systems function as intended.

• Post-secondary technical education, e.g., in automation, control and regulation technology, HVAC, or similar.
• Alternatively, work experience as an HVAC consultant, refrigeration technician, fire safety consultant, piping consultant, or within contracting.
• At least 3–4 years of experience in building automation, preferably from the consulting side.
• Understanding of programming within PLC.
• Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
