Service Technician at Olssons Elektromekaniska

Do you want to work in a technical and varied role where you can combine mechanical work, installation, and service? Olssons Elektromekaniska is now looking for a Service Technician for their operations just outside of Örebro.

Here, you will become an important part of a company with extensive experience in backup power and energy solutions. This role is suitable for you if you have a strong technical interest, experience with mechanical work, and enjoy working both in a workshop environment and on-site at customer locations.

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Mechanical assembly of generator sets on skid frames
• Assembly of fuel systems on generator sets and fuel tanks
• Installation and assembly of generator sets in containers with ventilation, fuel, and exhaust systems
• Equipping fuel tanks with fittings and pump systems
• Service, installation, and technical work related to backup power plants
• Troubleshooting and understanding how different technical systems interact
• Some welding work may be required
• Assembly and service work at customer sites
• Travel and overnight stays related to customer assignments occur regularly
• Contribute to a good working environment and collaborate well with colleagues

We are looking for someone with

• Experience from machinery manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or similar technical operations
• Good knowledge of diesel engines
• High general technical competence
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read and work from drawings
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• A Category BE license is an advantage
