Are you the one we are looking for?

We are currently looking for a mechanic for one of our two mechanical maintenance departments. The department consists of 19 employees and serves the Black Bar production sections in Hällefors.

Role Description

In your role, you will primarily perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on our machinery, crane girders, and handling equipment. The work may be carried out individually or in teams, depending on the nature of the task. The work is varied, and you will move between the different production sections within Black Bar.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Checklists for preventive maintenance.
• Emergency repairs. Assembly of production equipment.
• Welding, lubrication, and pneumatics. Handling alarms for, e.g., LPG and fire.

You will work in shifts.

Your Profile

We prefer that you have an educational background in technical studies or vocational school with a focus on industry or workshop. Previous experience in mechanical maintenance from the process industry or equivalent is desirable.

You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language as well as good reading comprehension in English, as the vast majority of manuals and instructions are written in English. You must have a valid B-driver's license for this position.

As a person, you are self-motivated and enjoy tackling and solving problems. You are structured, can plan effectively, and make the decisions required to solve your daily work. You are a team player, and it comes naturally to you to collaborate and communicate with others, as well as to help colleagues when you see a need.

Information/Conditions

The person employed will report to the Section Manager for Mechanical Maintenance, Black Bar in Hällefors.

The position is full-time and involves shift work. Daytime hours may occur during certain periods.

Due to the summer and holiday season, we will begin contacting candidates and inviting for interviews no earlier than week 34.
