Job Description

Boliden Zinkgruvan is looking for an electrician for day-shift underground positions. As an electrician at Zinkgruvan, your workday will be exciting with varied tasks. You will have the opportunity to work with everything from high- to low-voltage systems, telephones, radio, automation, new installations, fiber equipment, switchgear assembly, preventive and emergency maintenance, as well as production preparation work.

We are responsible for all electrical work in the mine, offices, workshops, ramps, stations, and fixed installations such as conveyors, crushers, chutes, skips, and elevators.

Tasks include relocating drill centers, paste plant monitors, refuge chambers, Radio & LTE systems, as well as automated loading and drilling.

The work group consists of six people, including two telecommunication technicians and four electricians. (Additionally, there is a group of twelve shift-working electricians and four shift-working telecommunication technicians, who you will often serve as a recruitment base for in the long run).

Requirements for the Position

• At least upper secondary education in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience working as an electrician.
• Valid B driver's license.
