We are now looking for a Maintenance Mechanic for our operations in Örebro. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring high operational reliability and availability in production through both preventive and corrective maintenance. You will become part of an engaged team where technology, development, and collaboration are central parts of everyday life.

What you will do

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you are responsible for ensuring stable and efficient operation in production by working with both planned and emergency maintenance of machines and production equipment. You work closely with production, technology, and other functions to quickly handle operational disruptions and find sustainable solutions that contribute to increased availability and reduced downtime in the business.

The role includes troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment, as well as participating in improvement work where you contribute with analyses, technical solutions, and optimization of working methods. You document performed work in the maintenance system according to established routines and actively contribute to developing maintenance work together with the team.

The position is located in Örebro and you report to the Maintenance Manager. Shift work is required, and on-call duties may occur.

What you need to succeed and thrive

You have:

• Upper secondary education in technology, mechanics, or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance work within an industrial or production environment.
• Good proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, for example bearings, transmissions, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Experience working in maintenance systems.
• Basic knowledge of electricity and automation.
• Work experience from the food industry.
