Do you want to work with young people at open meeting places where community, engagement, and safe adults are at the center? We are now looking for shift leaders for our operations, Fuzed and Ungdomsverket, in Skellefteå Municipality.

Both operations are open meeting places for young people, focusing on a meaningful leisure time, participation, and safety. Here, young people meet adults who are present in everyday life, build relationships, and provide clear boundaries in a drug-free environment.

YOUR ROLE

As a shift leader, you are responsible, together with colleagues, for creating a safe, inclusive, and meaningful activity for the young people visiting Fuzed and Ungdomsverket. You meet young people in everyday situations, participate in activities, and contribute to a positive and respectful environment.

The role involves taking initiative, setting boundaries when necessary, and being a safe adult in interactions with young people. This is important as you are part of creating both structure and trust in the operation. You also participate in joint training and competence development offered within the operations. The work is scheduled for evenings and weekends, approximately 2–3 evenings per week.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for the role, you must be available to work regularly on evenings and weekends, as the operations take place when young people have their leisure time. You must be able to communicate in both Swedish and English in everyday situations and have the physical ability to actively participate in various activities together with young people. This is important for building relationships, being present, and contributing to the content of the operations.

You also have work or assignment experience that enables you to work independently, set boundaries, and be a safe adult in interactions with young people. This ability is needed to create a stable and safe environment for the young people participating in the operations.

You have experience or a clear commitment to creative expressions such as music, arts, media, or technology. This is a requirement as the operations are built on offering meaningful activities where young people have the opportunity to express themselves, develop their interests, and participate in the content.

It is an advantage if you have experience working with young people in organized activities, such as youth clubs, schools, or associations. We also view positively if you have education in child/youth work or pedagogy, as it gives you tools to meet the diverse needs of young people.

It is also an advantage if you have experience or interest in gaming and gaming culture, or sports, movement, and health, as this helps broaden the operations' activities and reach more young people.

A B-driver's license for manual transmission is an advantage.
