Job Description

We are looking for employment caseworkers who work with the target group of unemployed individuals aged 16–65 who are in need of support to enter the labor market or to start or return to education.

You carry out flexibly designed support measures for groups and individuals with the aim of strengthening the individual's opportunities on the labor market. This means complementing, strengthening, and connecting existing measures and offering support that strengthens motivation, ability, and endurance. You create knowledge and understanding of opportunities, requirements, and conditions generally on the labor market, but also specific to certain industries. You carry out measures aimed at strengthening the Swedish language in work situations. You plan, adapt, and conduct these training sessions together with colleagues.

You receive and map the needs of the persons assigned to the employment unit and suggest measures, offer places for practical work at the unit or in collaboration with other operations. You support, motivate, and follow up on measures at the respective workplaces, document, and report back to the assigner, who is often the Social Services or the Swedish Public Employment Service.

You keep yourself informed about employers' recruitment needs and create contacts to support participants in their job search. In the operational work, you collaborate closely with colleagues within the Social Services, the Swedish Public Employment Service, and various educational forms.

The position has a flexible content and involves participation in all other work at the unit as needed and with changed measures.

Qualifications

You have post-secondary education equivalent to at least two years of full-time studies in a field that the employer deems adequate for the assignment. You have experience working with a target group that stands outside the labor market.

You have knowledge of how Swedish education and the labor market function and have good language skills in Swedish. You can express yourself very well both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work.

You work well with other people and adapt to find win-win solutions through an egoless focus on the common goal. You do your best by doing what you can right now. You quickly find solutions to emerging problems. You have a good understanding of how humans acquire knowledge and of people's different prerequisites. You adapt your way of conveying your message to the recipient. You see possibilities in changes and can also change your perspective and approach according to changed requirements, prerequisites, or circumstances.
