Your workplace
Kil Health Center has 11,500 registered patients and just over 30 employees. We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. We are a lovely group that truly enjoys working together and cares about each other. The health center is located in a beautiful natural setting, about two miles north of Karlstad, and has good transport links, with both bus and train options available.
Our team consists of experienced district doctors, ST (specialization training) doctors, and AT (internship) doctors. We have good staffing with district nurses and general nurses, some with competence in diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia. We have a well-functioning counseling clinic with counselors, and soon also a psychologist.
Furthermore, our team includes assistant nurses, healthcare administrators, chiropodists, rehabilitation coordinators, and caretakers who work both independently and in close collaboration with the team. The health center also offers physiotherapy, BMM (Basic Medical Care), BVC (Child Health Center), UM (Youth Clinic), and a laboratory.
We work in the medical record system Cosmic.
We place great importance on a good work environment and work from a health-promoting occupational safety perspective, offering wellness benefits and planned time for wellness activities if the operations allow. Stability, dialogue, and collegial support are important to us in our daily work.
Your responsibilities
The responsibilities include emergency and scheduled clinic operations, as well as some on-call and standby duties. The work is varied, involving the investigation, assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients of all ages. We are also responsible for nursing homes and home care, BMM, BVC, and the Youth Clinic.
We work in a cross-professional manner centered around the patient and value teamwork; you need to be comfortable collaborating with different professions. As a specialist, you also have an important role as a supervisor for our trainee doctors and students.

We are looking for you who are a specialist in general medicine and wish to develop primary care together with us. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and find it easy to build good relationships with both patients and colleagues.
You are secure, stable, and your approach adapts to the situation. You collaborate and naturally build good relationships with both patients and colleagues. You are engaged, proactive, and able to act according to your own convictions.
