About the Organization

Primary care is the foundation of healthcare in Värmland. We exist to provide good and accessible care to everyone in Värmland throughout all stages of life. Skoghall Health Centre, located in Hammarö Municipality, is a well-functioning health centre with experienced and dedicated staff. We have approximately 16,700 registered patients and around 50 employees. At the health centre, various professions work together in teams to offer our patients high-quality care.

We maintain close and effective communication between our different professional groups, which is a key part of our operations. The health centre is led by two unit managers. Together with inpatient care and municipalities, we work towards seamless care for our shared patients.

Several doctors at Skoghall Health Centre conduct research. This means we contribute to developing healthcare and creating better conditions for our patients by raising the quality of care.

At the health centre, we offer our patients, among other things, doctor consultations, diabetes clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, hypertension clinic, heart failure clinic, district nurse clinic, nurse clinic, assistant nurse clinic, allergy testing clinic, counseling clinic, CBT, psychologist, rehabilitation coordinator, and laboratory services.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a district nurse/registered nurse who wants to work together with experienced district doctors, training doctors, district nurses, nurses, assistant nurses, healthcare administrators, CBT therapists, and psychologists.

We follow patients through all stages of life. You will work with your own clinic, infusion clinic, and telephone advice. You will be part of a team together with other nurses, doctors, healthcare administrators, and assistant nurses. The role also includes participating in our on-call duties.

Physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and Friskvården i Värmland also work at the health centre, with whom we have close cooperation. We maintain close and effective communication between our different professional groups, which is a key part of our operations.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are trained as a district nurse/registered nurse and have experience working at a health centre. You are used to working independently, are confident in your professional role, and are interested in providing high medical quality. You are responsible and have a structured approach to work. You collaborate well and want to actively contribute to our development, while showing good customer service and organizational skills.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and/or advanced courses in diabetes, asthma/COPD, heart failure, and/or hypertension.
