Your workplace

At Folktandvården Kronoparken/Molkom, we are a team of 20 employees. We provide general dental care to approximately 5,500 patients at Kronoparken and 1,000 patients at our annex clinic in Molkom. Molkom is located approximately 25 minutes from Karlstad city center. Both the clinic at Kronoparken and Molkom are easily accessible from Karlstad city center by public transport.

Daily patient care at our clinic in Kronoparken runs from 07:40 to 16:40, while our clinic in Molkom is staffed 2–3 days a week.

At Kronoparken, we share premises with the specialist dental care in bite physiology and with the dental hygienist education program at Karlstad University, where we maintain a close collaboration with the educational activities. As part of our cooperation with Karlstad University, we have recently completed a research project on dental caries in children.

Your responsibilities

Here, you will enjoy a varied and stimulating job consisting mainly of assisting, sterilization, and reception duties. If you are interested, there are also opportunities for independent areas of responsibility, such as prophylaxis with your own patients, and other delegated tasks such as taking impressions.

The tasks vary between adult and pediatric dentistry. It is important to us that our patients feel satisfied after their visit, which is why we place great emphasis on service and customer care. If you are at the beginning of your career, you will receive excellent support from your new colleagues. Furthermore, we provide a strong start to your new career through our comprehensive introduction program, which combines theory with practical work.

Your qualifications and skills

We are looking for you who are a trained dental hygienist/dental assistant (tandsköterska) and wish to work with varied tasks, treating both children and adults in general dental care.

As a person, you are responsible, stable, and have good teamwork skills, while also being able to work independently and take initiative. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and solution-oriented, as well as flexible and adaptable. With a proactive attitude, you take the initiative and strive to deliver safe, service-oriented, high-quality care.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics within all specialist fields that treat referred patients. We are a forward-thinking organization with quality and competence as our focus. Around 560 people work here, bringing together long and broad experience in working towards better oral health.
