We are looking for assistant nurses for Ward 33!
Your Workplace
The Nephrology Clinic is responsible for specialized kidney care in Värmland. Ward 33 is a medical emergency care unit with specialized expertise in nephrology. Here, we work with the investigation of kidney diseases and preparations for hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). We care for both acutely ill patients and patients in a more stable condition, aged 18 and above. Lengths of stay vary from a few days to several weeks, providing a dynamic and educational work environment.
We look forward to welcoming you to a workplace with an open and inclusive atmosphere, where we value collaboration, commitment, and joy in work. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while contributing to creating safety and quality for our patients.
We offer an exciting and varied position for you as an assistant nurse, where you work closely with patients with complex care needs and multiple concurrent conditions. This gives you the opportunity to deepen your competence in nursing and medical-technical procedures, while strengthening your ability to handle advanced care situations together with a knowledgeable team.
As an assistant nurse with us, you will become an important part of a committed work team striving together to provide high-quality care. You will receive an individually tailored introduction, opportunities for competence development within the operations, and training in specific work tasks, such as peritoneal dialysis treatment.
We are proud of our ward and the work we do together. Here, you will have the opportunity to grow in your professional role, contribute with your experience, and help create a positive and pleasant work environment.
Your Responsibilities
The ward is organized into smaller teams, meaning that as an assistant nurse, you work closely with nurses and other colleagues to provide good and secure nursing care for the patients. You are responsible for daily nursing care, which may include assistance with personal hygiene, meals, mobilization, and observing the patient's condition.
You are an important part of the team and contribute to creating a calm and safe environment for the patients. We have many students on the ward, making supervision a natural and valuable part of the work. You will have the opportunity to share your experience and develop in your professional role simultaneously.
The position involves working according to a mixed schedule with day, evening, and night shifts, which provides variation and flexibility in working hours.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you with an assistant nurse education. We would like you to have previous experience working as an assistant nurse, preferably in inpatient care or with patients with complex care needs. This is a great advantage in the role, but not an absolute requirement.
We look for someone who takes initiative and has the ability to adapt to changing conditions in daily work. You collaborate well and contribute to a good work climate, and you meet patients and relatives with sensitivity, respect, and understanding, which we value highly in our operations.
If you have the desire to learn and engage in our operations, we warmly welcome your application!
