Your Workplace
Ward 42 provides 24-hour care for patients with psychotic illnesses as well as other acute psychiatric conditions. The ward has 10 care beds.
As a nurse assistant on Ward 42, you are welcome to join a well-functioning team of nurse assistants and nurses. For us, good teamwork, high-quality psychiatric nursing care, and professional treatment of our patients are of great importance.
Our healthcare is evidence-based, purposeful, individualized, efficient, and equitable. We work with person-centered care that starts from the individual patient's needs. Care should be provided close to the patient and on the patient's terms.
Your Responsibilities
Daily work takes place in care teams where you are the contact person for one or more patients. You work in a team with nurses and doctors and collaborate with other therapists in the unit. You work closely with the patients and support them through conversation and psychiatric nursing care.
The position is a mixed-shift role, preferably night shifts.
Your Skills and Competencies
You have a degree from the nursing program, preferably with a focus on psychiatric care, or other nursing assistant training. Experience in psychiatric care is an advantage. As a person, you are engaged in your work and sensitive to the patients' care needs.
You are flexible and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and teamwork skills. In your application, we ask that you attach your diploma and/or certificates for completed courses.
