Description
We are looking for new colleagues to the home care services in Karlstad, both as Patient Responsible Nurses (PAS) and as nurses for evening shifts.
As a Patient Responsible Nurse (PAS) in home care, you will have a varied, educational, and exciting job where you can work both independently and as part of a team. Our care recipients are residents of Karlstad from the age of seven and up.
We offer an introduction tailored to your needs as a new employee, with guidance from colleagues in the team and training from our mentors.
Responsibilities
As a Patient Responsible Nurse (PAS), you have the main responsibility for the overall planning of the care recipient's medical healthcare interventions. You will make home visits, assess which measures need to be carried out, and document these. You are also responsible for supervising, delegating, and training nursing staff in healthcare tasks.
As a nurse within municipal care, you collaborate with various professional categories and agencies involved in the care recipient's care. You also participate in improvement and development work within the team and the organization.
Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse. Education in geriatrics is meritorious, as is experience in geriatric care and/or work within municipal healthcare.
You need to have a B driver's license to get to our clients, as well as the ability to cycle.
The job requires a professional approach and good treatment according to our values in contact with our care recipients, relatives, and partners. As a person, you are therefore team-oriented, flexible, able to work independently, and have an easy time communicating and collaborating in a group.
