Ready for an adventure? We're searching for guides and hosts at our wilderness camp. It's challenging yet rewarding. We believe we have the best job in the world, meeting people from all over the globe in a magnificent environment. Taube Activity is a family-owned business since 1978. Located 10 kilometers from the nearest road in Kiruna's fantastic wilderness, our camp is a unique off-grid destination. Together with our guests, we drive snowmobiles to a beautiful spot next to a section of the Torne River that never freezes. We cross the river by rubber boat, where you will find a Sami turf hut, wood-fired cabins, a sauna, and a grill hut. On clear winter evenings, the chances of seeing millions of stars and the Northern Lights are high – it is a workplace you will never forget.

Your responsibilities at the camp include:

• Welcome guests from all corners of the world
• Show and instruct on everything from chopping wood to snowshoeing, skiing, ice fishing, and ice swimming (you do not need to participate in all activities)
• Serve meals using local ingredients
• Tell exciting stories from present and past in Lapland – and build a friendly atmosphere for people experiencing something they have long dreamed of
• Take care of cabins and cleaning

Our typical guests are adventurous 20–30-year-olds with high spirits. They are engaged and love a chat with you and your colleagues. We guide both large and small groups, and the intensity of the days varies.

You will become an important part of the experience, together with the team. You share the guests' anticipation, create memories, and are a major reason why they enjoy their stay and talk about us. Working closely together during an intense season in nature has not only led to strong teams – many have also found friends for life.

Boost your life experience even further with us. You will learn practical skills, make connections, have social meetings with people, and live close to nature in a unique climate 200 km north of the Arctic Circle. Perhaps you will move to a new town? We can help arrange furnished accommodation, work clothes, and a gym membership.

To ensure you thrive as much as possible, we believe you appreciate a social, physically active, personally developing, and sometimes challenging job. Living "off-grid" close to extraordinary nature for most of the winter season.

Valuable but not required:

• Previous guiding experience or guiding education
• Experience from the hotel and restaurant industry
• Snowmobile license
