At Access Assistans, we are looking for an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a man living in Umeå.

The client leads an active life where studies, training, and social activities are important parts of his daily routine. He communicates using alternative communication aids, and as an assistant, you will play a key role in creating the conditions for an independent and meaningful everyday life.

As a personal assistant, you will help the client with tasks such as:

• Dressing and undressing
• Personal care and hygiene
• Meals
• Household chores and cleaning
• Communication
• Training and other activities

The working hours are primarily scheduled as 24-hour shifts, corresponding to approximately 1–2 work shifts per week. On-call duty is included during nighttime hours.

The position covers 72% of a full-time role. In case of absence by regular staff, for example due to illness or vacation, there is an opportunity to increase working hours by taking extra shifts.

Since the client has family and friends in other locations, travel may be required as part of the job.

The start date for the position is planned for week 35, or as agreed upon.
