Our municipality offers varied living environments, nature near the sea, history, culture, and good service. Tierp has Stockholm, Uppsala, and Gävle within commuting distance and also offers the possibility to work partially remotely.

Our values are important, and together we work to realize our core values: respect, responsibility, customer focus, courage, and faith in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Property Coordinator, you work closely with the various municipal operations. Your role is a support function for the operations regarding their premises needs, property and lease law issues, as well as any renovations/business adaptations.

You will have a role where you get to combine administration, service, and coordination. You have close cooperation with the municipal property company, and your work will mainly be performed at an operational level but also partially at a strategic level. You will become part of the Growth and Community Development operation where you, within the property office, will work together with our Property Strategist. The Strategist also has close contacts with the municipality's operations and the property company but at a more distinct strategic level. The cooperation between the coordinator and the strategist is important for creating well-founded strategic plans and operational execution in line with the plans.

The area of work is broad with significant collaboration, both internally and externally. You will among other things handle questions and feedback from the municipality's residents, handle business orders, assist with the creation, review, and monitoring of the municipality's lease agreements, and give presentations to different target groups. You initiate and participate in preliminary studies and processes for e.g., strategic projects/premises needs, and you keep up to date with external trends to produce relevant basis for decisions and cost calculations. Part of the work with smaller business orders also involves your knowledge of building technology and your ability to make reasonable assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have an academic education in e.g., property economics, property management, or building engineering. You also have experience from comparable work, such as strategist, manager, space planner, or project manager, preferably in combination with performing property economic analyses and assessments. To succeed in the role, basic knowledge of building technology is required. You are administratively skilled and used to working in various digital systems. You handle work in Outlook and the Office suite as well as property systems. You can read building documents, drawings, and maps.

The role requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and you adapt your communication to different target groups. Travel in the service occurs, therefore you need to have a B driver's license. Meritorious if you have previously worked with property and premises issues within municipal operations.

We are looking for you who are structured and self-initiating, enjoy working in teams but are still secure in working independently. You have the ability to think strategically and creatively with a strong commitment to premises issues. Your relationship-building approach and business-like manner are important prerequisites for creating good results and rewarding collaborations.

As a person, you are trustworthy, receptive, and communicative. You are solution-oriented and can take on assignments that are not always well-defined from the start. The role requires that you can plan, develop, and drive work depending on the task. Being able to break down long-term goals to find the right level of deliveries and priorities in daily work is fundamental for the position.

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Employment type: Permanent position.

At Tierp Municipality, we focus on our employees' well-being and therefore offer a wellness allowance of 3,000 SEK, the opportunity to exchange salary for extra vacation days, a benefit bike, and other attractive benefits. We also strive to create a workplace with rich development opportunities.
