About the operations

Vårdcentral Vansbro is a rural health center located in the scenic Västerdalarna region, with approximately 6,500 registered patients. Our team includes doctors, nurses, district nurses, midwives, assistant nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical secretaries. We offer a good and developmental work environment focused on service and respectful treatment, where we strive together to do the best for our patients.

Job responsibilities

As a medical secretary with us, you will have varied and interesting tasks. Together with other medical secretaries, you serve as administrative support and a key resource for the entire health center. You collaborate closely with other professional categories, contributing to a smooth, efficient operation and good patient contact. Responsibilities include reception duties, medical record documentation, handling referrals and mail, telephone calls, and system administration. The documentation work is done in collaboration with other health centers in Region Dalarna.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are trained as a medical secretary, with one of the following educations:

• Medical Secretary Program (120 hp)
• Healthcare Administration Program (180 hp)
• Vocational Higher Education Diploma in Medical Secretary (400 credits)
• 1-year post-secondary healthcare documentation education

The work is varied and requires the ability to independently prioritize and organize different tasks. Personal suitability is highly valued, and interviews are conducted continuously during the application period.
