About the role

As a Technical Specialist within foundations, you will have a central and important role in the development of Svenska Kraft Network's technical solutions for overhead line foundations. The work varies between strategic issues and operational support in projects, with a particular focus on technical guidelines, standard structures, and project support.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Managing and further developing technical guidelines, such as TR05-02, related to overhead line foundations. This means ensuring that the guidelines are up-to-date, relevant, and adapted to both technical requirements and the organization's needs.
• Leading and carrying out development tasks related to Svenska Kraft Network's standard foundations and standard structures. The work is carried out either internally or in close collaboration with our consulting partners, with a focus on developing solutions that are cost-effective, buildable, and sustainable from a lifecycle perspective.
• Providing technical support in our infrastructure projects regarding foundation requirements and solutions. This may involve reviewing special structures and calculation reports, performing dimensioning checks, and handling deviations from current guidelines.

The unit's work affects large parts of Svenska Kraft Network's project portfolio, meaning you will clearly be able to see how your efforts are put into practice and have an impact in the projects.

In the coming years, a large number of projects will start simultaneously as many new people enter the industry. Together, this creates a need to develop innovative and efficient working methods, where you will become an important part of driving development forward.

The position is located in the Overhead Line Technology Construction unit. Here, 14 technical specialists work with responsibility for the technical design of overhead lines and associated foundations.

About you

Requirements:

You have an analytical approach and can systematically immerse yourself in complex technical issues, weigh different solutions against each other, and make well-founded decisions.

At the same time, you are collaborative and thrive in a role where you work closely with both colleagues and external partners, where dialogue and knowledge exchange are a natural part of the work. You are also curious and have a genuine interest in developing within your field, following technical developments, and contributing to driving working methods and solutions forward.

We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Furthermore, you have:

• A university degree in civil engineering, civil and environmental engineering, construction technology, or equivalent that we consider relevant.
• Good skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Several years of work experience with overhead lines, substations, wind power, masts, bridge structures, or equivalent.
• At least five years of work experience with foundation and concrete construction.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Several years of work experience with design or contracting in the infrastructure industry.
• Been active in the overhead line industry for at least three years during the last five years.
• Experience with overhead line design.
• Experience with pile foundation dimensioning.
• Knowledge of AB/ABT/ABK/AMA/MER/Eurocodes and similar industry standards.
