At the Swedish Migration Agency, we work with one of today's major societal challenges – migration. We are approximately 6,000 employees in total, and we have an unusually important job!
We are now looking for a Business Expert for the case distribution units. The task of the case distribution units is to handle incoming mail, digitize documents and applications arriving in Sweden from foreign authorities and from individuals. The applications and documents that arrive are reviewed, assessed, and digitized so that they can be further processed by our colleagues in the various permit and asylum units across the country. The work is carried out within most of the Agency's processes and case management systems. We now see a need for a Business Expert for the task, based on the Agency's mandate, overarching goals, and strategy, to work with the development and follow-up of the operations.
Responsibilities
As a Business Expert at the case distribution units, you will perform planning, coordination, analysis, and forecasting work in the area. You drive development work independently and capture needs from other operations from a holistic perspective.
You will work with qualitative and quantitative follow-up, draw up action plans, statements, and remiss responses, and prepare cases for decision. Furthermore, you will support managers and team leaders in strategic analysis and improvement work within the operations. Based on statistics, investigations, reports, and other follow-up data, you analyze results and development in the operations. You answer questions internally and externally, support the operations in methodological and substantive matters, and maintain, collect, and disseminate knowledge within the subject area. Another central task is cooperation, collaboration, and environmental scanning of the area.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a good representative of the Swedish Migration Agency and for the task. You thrive in a changing operation and adapt easily to new conditions. You are self-reliant and take responsibility for driving your work forward, while also being proactive and seeing opportunities for development and improvements. Furthermore, you have the ability to analyze complex issues, identify relevant connections, and make well-founded assessments. You work in a structured manner with a focus on quality, ensuring that the work maintains high quality and is carried out in a legally secure and efficient manner. Furthermore, you have a good holistic view and can weigh together different perspectives to prioritize what creates the greatest value for the operation. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work in an efficient manner and adhere to set timeframes. You have good collaboration skills and create trusting relationships by listening, communicating, and contributing to good cooperation. You value working in an environment where we work together to perform our tasks and assignments.
In our work as civil servants, high demands are also placed on judgment and a high level of security and confidentiality awareness.
You who apply have:
- An academic education of 180 ECTS credits with a legal, social science, or behavioral science focus, or another education combined with relevant and current experience
- Current experience of analysis, method development, change work, and follow-up within public operations
- Very good communication skills and express yourself well orally and in writing in Swedish and English
It is meritorious if you have:
