We are now looking for a Project Manager for the EU project Umeå Talent Lab!

Umeå Talent Lab aims to strengthen the competence supply in the Umeå region by developing forecasting and analysis methods, mapping and optimizing collaboration structures, and creating effective meeting places and matching services. Through increased collaboration and a better understanding of the region's competence needs, the project will contribute to a more functional labor market and sustainable regional development. Your responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for the operational and strategic implementation of the project. The work includes, among other things:

• Ongoing project and process management, including planning, steering, coordination, communication, administration, as well as procurement and tendering.
• Development and implementation of plans to integrate gender equality, accessibility, and non-discrimination into all project activities, in accordance with the project's goals and values.
• Planning, facilitation, and execution of knowledge-raising seminars, study visits, and other learning initiatives. The role also includes responsibility for arranging at least one conference in the field of competence supply to disseminate results, share experiences, and strengthen networks between relevant actors.
• Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the project's work packages to ensure quality, goal achievement, and progress. You are also responsible for ensuring that method development and lessons learned are integrated and applied in the project's work.
• Responsibility for the project's internal and external communication. This involves coordinating information flows between project participants, partners, and external stakeholders, as well as ensuring strategic and inclusive communication that promotes gender equality, diversity, and accessibility. A communication plan is developed in the initial phase of the project and forms the basis for the ongoing communication work.

Requirements

• Education as a journalist or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Several years of experience in steering, leading, and reporting on EU projects.
• Experience in change management in complex projects.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Other

The position is a part-time project employment, 50%. The project runs from August 2026 to June 2029.
