The health center is located in beautiful Ängelholm with good transport connections by both train and bus. We have approximately 9,500 registered patients and a comprehensive mandate according to Hälsovalet.

About 40 employees work at the health center across various professional categories. The collaboration is characterized by great respect for each other's strengths and competencies. Here you will find specialists in general medicine, Child Health Services (BVC), district nurses, as well as several nurse-led and assistant nurse-led clinics for conditions such as diabetes, elderly care, hypertension, heart failure, and asthma/COPD. We also have physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and a psychosocial team consisting of a counselor, psychologist, and psychotherapist. This breadth allows us to offer our patients comprehensive care and our employees excellent development opportunities. Job Description

Your duties include clinic work with both acute and scheduled visits as well as investigation patients, where you will utilize your full general medical competence. The role also involves acting as a consulting physician for nurses and training physicians, as well as participating in rounds for assessment and triage. Collaboration issues with the municipality and other authorities are also part of your assignment, and you will have close collaboration with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues.

Here you will receive stimulating and varied tasks. All employees are encouraged to develop their area of interest within the mandate of primary care. The medical group meets every week to develop routines, working methods, and discuss medical challenges.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare and have specialist competence in general medicine. Proficiency in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Experience working in primary care and/or PMO (Primary Care Medical Areas) is an advantage.

As a person, you are sensitive, empathetic, and have a professional approach towards both patients and colleagues. Furthermore, you are responsible, flexible, solution-focused, and confident in yourself and your professional role. Good communication skills are important, as is the ability to quickly adapt when the situation requires it. You contribute to good cohesion in the workplace. You take personal responsibility for continued competence development and have an interest in sharing knowledge with other employees. We continuously work with various forms of improvement work, and we therefore expect you to participate actively in this.
