Currently, four specialists in general medicine work full-time at the unit, and we are now expanding our team and looking for the fifth specialist!

At Vårdcentralen Gullviksborg, we are approximately 25 engaged and positive employees from various professional categories. We have a good work climate with an open-door policy and value both high patient safety and a good work environment where collaboration works and employees thrive. The health center has several specialist clinics within areas such as heart failure, hypertension, asthma/COPD, and diabetes. The Child Health Center (BVC) is located in the Family House Nydala. We work with cross-professional teams and have daily team collaboration for all professions. We also have an educational placement for students in various professional categories.

Vårdcentralen Gullviksborg is located in the southern city area of Malmö with good bus connections and close to the outer and inner ring roads for those who drive. Parking is available adjacent to the health center for a small fee. The health center has approximately 6,800 registered patients, and the BVC has approximately 850 registered children. We work in fresh and pleasant premises where both employees and patients feel comfortable.

Job Responsibilities

We offer you a varied and meaningful job with the reception of both acute and planned visits where you get to use your entire general medical competence. Collaboration cases with the municipality and other authorities are also part of your assignment, and you will have close cooperation with engaged and knowledgeable colleagues. Supervision of ST-doctors (specialist training doctors) is included as a natural part of the work.

We work in teams, and this recruitment means an expansion of the number of specialist doctors at the unit. High patient safety and continuity for both patients and doctors are prioritized with us. You actively participate in change work to create new, efficient ways of working, and you become an important part of the continued development. There is an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in areas such as diabetes, asthma/COPD, or other special areas that suit both your interest and the organization's needs.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with permission to work within Swedish healthcare and have completed your specialist training in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are a requirement for the position. We consider it meritorious if you have previous experience of working in primary care as well as supervisor training and/or experience of supervision. If you have experience of working in PMO, Melior, and/or development work, this is also meritorious.
