Do you want to work closely with the Regulatory Council by reviewing the quality of impact assessments and preparing proposal decisions on behalf of the council? Are you a driven person who easily sees potential and development opportunities? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
At the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis (Tillväxtverket), we work for competitive businesses and sustainable development throughout Sweden. We offer knowledge, networks, and investment opportunities. This provides direct benefits to businesses, as well as prerequisites for businesses, municipalities, and regions to meet future challenges. The position is located within the "Better Regulations" unit, which supports the Regulatory Council in its work. Regulators are required to produce impact assessments when drafting new or amended regulations. The Regulatory Council is a special decision-making body within Tillväxtverket, tasked with deciding, from a business perspective, whether the quality of impact assessments reaches an acceptable level.
About the position
The main tasks of the role are to assist the council in reviewing impact assessments and to prepare proposal decisions, which are also presented orally to the council. The work also includes method development, guidance, and training regarding impact assessments with the aim of improving quality.

- Good knowledge of the legislative process at both the EU and national levels.
- Excellent written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Extensive experience in delivering oral presentations and lectures.
- Work experience that has required you to quickly familiarize yourself with various subject areas to identify effects and consequences of regulations for businesses.
The following are meritorious:
- Knowledge of producing impact assessments for regulation according to Ordinance 2024:183 on impact assessments.
- Experience in providing effective support in the production of impact assessments or similar documents.
As a person, we are looking for someone who is careful, analytical, independent, and results-oriented. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
We expect you to adhere to our employee and management policy, which expresses the expectations we have for all employees. We assume that you share our value base, the public sector values, which unite all state employees regardless of activity and profession. The value base aims to create an administration that is efficient, legally secure, and free from corruption and abuse of power.
