Do you want to work in socially important operations where your technical skills make a difference every day? Here, you combine advanced support and troubleshooting with a central role in incident management for healthcare and pharmacy actors across Sweden.

About the role

In second-line support, you handle support cases related to production environments as well as external test environments, helping healthcare and pharmacy actors with the Swedish eHealth Agency's services. You troubleshoot, extract data, and log from databases and logging tools, create test data for customers, and maintain test environments.

You are part of a team that has the role of Incident Manager scheduled, both during and outside office hours. As an Incident Manager, you work to handle and resolve incidents arising in our IT environment as quickly as possible. You do this by directing, leading, and coordinating the work required to resolve the incident. A key task in incident management is maintaining clear communication with both external and internal stakeholders.

The Application Support unit is responsible for technical support and fault resolution for the agency's applications. This includes handling second-line support for production and external test environments, the agency's incident management process, and collaboration with external actors to ensure efficient incident management. It also implies 24/7 readiness for the agency's incident management all year round.

About you

We are looking for an independent and stable person who takes responsibility for their tasks and works structured even in changing situations. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy building positive relationships. With a strong service focus, you are attentive to others' needs and always strive to find the best solutions. You also have good analytical and problem-solving skills, which allow you to quickly identify challenges, analyze causes, and turn insights into practical actions.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • post-secondary education in IT or equivalent knowledge acquired through work
  • current experience working with technical support
  • current experience formulating and performing searches in large databases and log files
  • current experience working in a process-oriented manner
  • good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
  • good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English.

The following qualifications are meritorious for the position:

  • experience working as an Incident Manager and/or Problem Manager
  • experience working with the logging tool Splunk
  • experience working with Oracle SQL Developer and/or SQL Server Management Studio
  • experience with operations regarding server applications with high performance, quality, and availability requirements
  • experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
