Do you want to work close to code with test automation and help shape how tests are built and run in CI/CD? Are you driven by making a real impact on society? Then this might be the role for you.
About the role
You will be part of a test-focused team where quality is built into the entire development process. You will design, develop, and run tests, as well as analyze results. A significant part of the work involves coding, where you create automated tests for end-to-end, API, and regression flows. Depending on needs, performance and accessibility testing are also included. Your work contributes to stable and reliable deliveries of the agency's digital services.
You will work closely with the team and collaborate with developers, providing support in test automation and debugging. The development environment is characterized by CI/CD and a clear focus on quality at every step. The various parts of the platform present varying technical challenges, and you will help drive how testing is conducted – from choosing approaches to further developing test strategies and tools.
You belong to the Department of Digital Strategy and Platform. We work on developing and maintaining the agency's shared digital platforms and components.
About you
You collaborate closely with others and contribute to a common result by sharing knowledge and taking responsibility for the whole. You take initiative, drive the work forward, and use your analytical skills to understand problems and find sustainable solutions. At the same time, you contribute to developing working methods and solutions, with a focus on continuously improving how we work.
We are looking for someone who has:
- an academic education in IT or equivalent work experience
- several years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for APIs in a CI/CD context
- several years of experience in testing from a lifecycle perspective: test planning, test case management, regression testing, test data, and deviation management
- good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
The following qualifications are meritorious for the role:
- experience working as a system developer, preferably with Java/JavaScript
- experience working with security solutions in system integrations, such as authentication, certificates, or identity solutions
- experience with test automation for web applications using tools such as Playwright.
