We are now looking for an IT Project Manager who wants to lead and develop the digital support for our operations.

As an IT Project Manager, you play a central role at the intersection of business operations and IT. You work according to Region Kalmar County's collaboration model (pm3) and collaborate closely with business representatives to translate needs into structure, priorities, and implementation. The role is both strategic and operational, giving you the opportunity to influence how IT support develops over time.

The assignment includes driving and monitoring the IT-related goals of the project plan, leading and coordinating activities within the project, and ensuring stable operations, availability, and further development. You are responsible for monitoring deliveries, economy, and contracts, and you participate in releases, assignments, and smaller projects. Collaboration with business units, colleagues within the IT Administration, and external suppliers is a natural part of everyday life.

Your placement is in Kalmar, Oskarshamn, or Västervik. With us, you will have an important role in the region's digital development and the opportunity to work closely with operations on issues that make a real difference.

About you

We are looking for you who have experience in a coordinating role, for example within project management, administration management, or project leadership. You have good technical understanding and see how IT can create value in operations.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and quality-conscious. You enjoy collaborating, are communicative, and express yourself well both verbally and in writing. You are confident in prioritizing, making decisions, and driving work forward together with others.

Experience with pm3 or similar models, information security, data protection, procurement, or public sector operations is meritorious, but not a requirement.
