Welcome to the psychiatric, rehabilitation, and habilitation operations area! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment with the best possible competence.

Ekeliden belongs to specialized psychiatry and is a care and treatment home for adult women and men who have a harmful use or dependency on alcohol, drugs, and/or medication. Among our staff are therapists, CBT therapists, doctors, nurses, cooks, and unit managers. Ekeliden is located in Tingsryd, 4.5 miles south of Växjö.

We have our own kitchen and are now looking for a cook who can work hourly shifts with us. We look forward to your application!

WORK ASSIGNMENTS

Ekeliden has its own family-style kitchen where we prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for clients and employees. We cook traditional Swedish home cooking with creativity and care for both clients and the environment. Our kitchen has a good reputation, and we place great value on the meals served.

The kitchen at Ekeliden has two cooks who are responsible for the kitchen. Together, you are involved in ensuring that clients receive good food and good treatment. You will be involved in meal planning, kitchen operations, and ordering supplies.

Together with the other employees at Ekeliden, we care about quality in operations, a good work environment, and well-being for our clients, where food and nutrition play a significant role in recovery.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained cook. You have the ability to work independently as the work also involves working alone in the kitchen. Your values align well with the equal rights of all people.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Experience is an advantage.

Before employment, the employer requests an extract from the suspicion and criminal record register, which must be approved.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3-6 months, start date: According to agreement.
Working hours: Daytime, weekends also occur.
