Östersund Animal Hospital is an open 24/7 animal hospital and a key referral center in northern Sweden. We have experienced specialists and an emergency clinic open 24 hours a day, year-round. Our staff is highly skilled in surgery, orthopedics, internal medicine (including feline medicine), emergency and intensive care, physiotherapy, and more.

Our goal is to deliver high-quality animal healthcare with high accessibility, while caring for our employees, patients, pet owners, and the surrounding community.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a certified Biomedical Laboratory Scientist interested in working with animal healthcare. This is a permanent position. Previous experience in the industry is advantageous but not required.

You are responsible, structured, and flexible in your work approach, capable of working both independently and in a team. Our practice focuses primarily on small animals, mainly dogs and cats, but we also treat exotic animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and lizards. Laboratory staff work in close collaboration with the rest of the clinical team. As we are a relatively small professional group within the company, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

What do we offer?

You will analyze samples from animals within the field of clinical chemistry, primarily biochemistry and hematology, as well as hemostasis, microbiology, occasional hormone analyses, and cytology. Our laboratories are equipped with automated chemistry and hematology instruments.

Employment: Full-time or part-time according to agreement
