You will step into a project where a large underground garage facility is to be completed from a concrete shell to a fully installed and operational environment. The focus is on reviewing and updating previously produced sprinkler documentation, adapting the solution to today's products and technical alternatives, and ensuring that the documentation aligns with current regulations and revised framework documents.

The role involves close interaction between design, coordination, and technical support during the construction phase. You work in an environment where adjacent construction activities affect the prerequisites, which places high demands on clear handover points, feasible solutions, and good coordination in a BIM environment. You may also contribute to technical investigations and similar efforts in other projects. This is an exciting opportunity for you who want to use your sprinkler expertise in a complex project where 3D design and technical quality are at the center.

• You review and update existing sprinkler documentation based on today's products, solutions, and current framework documents.
• You design construction documents for sprinkler systems prior to execution contracting.
• You review produced documentation and ensure that they are correctly prepared and comply with legal requirements and relevant regulations.
• You design in 3D, create models for clash detection, and deliver models and drawings according to the client's design manual.
• You coordinate with adjacent works and clarify handover points where ongoing construction activity affects the solution.
• You support the construction phase by answering technical questions from the contractor.
• You may also contribute to investigations and other technical assignments as needed.

• 7 years of experience in sprinkler design.
• Certification as a Competent Engineer for Water Sprinklers according to SBF 1018:5, issued by SBSC or equivalent accredited certification body.
• Documented knowledge and experience of design according to SS-EN 12845 and SBF 120 Rules for Automatic Water Sprinkler Systems.
• Documented training in AMA Plumbing & Cooling.
• Good knowledge of PBL (Planning and Building Act) in relevant parts.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations relevant to the design phase, especially AFS 2023:3 on design and construction safety coordination.
• Documented experience of 3D sprinkler design.
• Experience of coordination in a BIM environment.
• Experience of at least 3 completed sprinkler designs in execution contracting in the last 5 years, of which at least one is of comparable size and complexity.
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing, as all communication and documentation is conducted in Swedish.

• Knowledge of BEAst PDF-Guidelines, Nameplate, References in documentation, Overall Plan Drawing, and More Efficient Review.
• Experience from parking facilities, garages, or similar objects.
• Documented experience as project manager or project leader within installation technology, fire protection, or equivalent technical area.
• Experience of leading consulting assignments according to ABK 09.
• Industry knowledge within construction and installation projects that enables you to quality-assure documentation and conduct technical dialogue at a high level.
