About Us
At our production facility in Högbytorp, we ensure a secure and sustainable production of district heating for society every day. Maintenance work is a crucial part of our operations – through long-term planning, technical competence, and close collaboration, we ensure that our facilities operate safely and efficiently, today and for the future.
You will be part of the Long-term Activity group within the Maintenance department. Here, we work with ongoing preventive maintenance and our annual audits. The group is part of a larger context where we, together with colleagues in Operations and Facilities, contribute to a stable energy supply and drive the energy transition forward.
Your Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and ensuring sustainable and efficient maintenance work for the facility areas you are responsible for. You will plan and follow up on maintenance efforts, coordinate tasks, and create the conditions for the right measures to be carried out at the right time.
You will work closely with Operations, Facilities, and external contractors to minimize the impact on production while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The role involves preparing work orders, developing decision support materials, and monitoring time, quality, and budget. You will also contribute to developing routines and working methods within your area, participate in improvement work and investment assessments, and be an important part of our audit team.
The role may involve carrying out tasks at several of our facilities in northern Stockholm, and a valid driver's license is a requirement for this position.
Your Experience
We are looking for you who have post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as energy, operations, or maintenance. You have experience from the energy sector or a similar process industry, where you have worked with maintenance issues and wish to continue developing within long-term and preventive maintenance. Experience with maintenance planning is an advantage, but not decisive. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and your willingness to learn and develop.
As a person, you enjoy creating structure and planning your work. You have an interest in long-term and strategic maintenance and are motivated by finding solutions that strengthen the business both today and over time. With an analytical and pragmatic approach, you see opportunities for improvement, take initiative, and dare to challenge established working methods to find new ways forward. Collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of your working style, and you are driven by contributing to the company's common goals together with your colleagues.
What is it like working with us?
Your direct manager, Ludvig Boström, looks forward to welcoming you to the team and giving you opportunities to develop with us at E.ON! Ludvig values trust-based and present leadership, and his door is always open for you to bounce ideas and thoughts around. You will become part of a team characterized by collaboration, structure, and a flat hierarchy where we help each other succeed.
We warmly welcome you to apply and join us on the path to a sustainable society! The application deadline is August 7th.
As we work with socially important operations, the employment is security-classified, which means that a security clearance will be conducted before employment.
