We are now looking for an experienced Strategic IT Procurement Manager for a large and business-critical program within energy and digitalization. This role is suitable for you who have solid experience in strategic IT procurement, complex supplier contracts, and commercial steering in project environments with many stakeholders.

About the Assignment

You will take on a key role in the procurement work for a comprehensive program focused on future business support within areas such as digitalization, cyber security, regulatory compliance, and long-term operational sustainability. The role involves responsibility for the procurement of IT hardware, software, services, and digital solutions that are central to the program's implementation and future operations.

You will work closely with both the project organization and the IT function, responsible for leading and coordinating IT procurements throughout the entire purchasing process – from strategy and supplier selection to contract award, follow-up, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT procurements from sourcing strategy to contract award
• Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT solutions based on business and project needs
• Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation, commercial negotiations, and contracting
• Ensure that IT procurements are coordinated with the project schedule and milestones
• Act as the main contact person for IT procurement towards IT, technology, cyber security, legal, category managers, and strategic suppliers
• Ensure that documentation related to IT procurement is correct, traceable, and audit-proof
• Identify, analyze, and manage risks related to delivery times, integrations, regulatory changes, and supplier dependencies
• Prepare decision-making materials and report on status, risks, supplier performance, and critical decisions
• Contribute to a structured, commercial, and long-term sustainable procurement process

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 5–7 years of experience in strategic IT procurement
• Documented experience in negotiating and managing large and complex IT contracts
• Experience in supplier evaluation, supplier management, and follow-up
• Very good knowledge of procurement processes and strategic purchasing
• Good understanding of IT hardware, software, cloud services, and digital solutions
• Knowledge of contract negotiation, commercial risk management, and supplier assessment
• Proficient in using procurement systems and digital procurement tools
• Ability to work structured in a complex, high-paced project environment
• Master's degree in economics, finance, law, or another relevant field
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience from large investment projects (CAPEX)
• Experience in procurement within regulated industries, for example related to NIS2, cyber security, or other regulatory compliance
• Additional language skills
