About the Role
As Category Sales Manager MDA, you have overall responsibility for developing and driving the category's business and ensuring profitable and sustainable growth. You are responsible for creating and implementing the annual strategic plan for the category, as well as developing the international business through business management, analysis, and close collaboration with suppliers and internal functions.
The role combines a strategic perspective with operational responsibility, where you continuously monitor sales, profitability, and market development to ensure the category is competitive and meets customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Your main areas of responsibility:
- Design and implement the annual business and category strategy
- Drive and develop the international business through strategic partnerships and business management
- Ensure sales development through analysis of key performance indicators, campaigns, pricing, and assortment strategy
- Plan, execute, and follow up on marketing and campaign activities, analyzing results and profitability
- Identify business opportunities through market, customer, and competitor analysis
- Develop and strengthen supplier relationships, leading commercial dialogues and negotiations
- Collaborate closely with e-commerce, marketing, purchasing, and other internal functions to create a strong customer experience across all channels
- Support and develop store sales through training, advisory services, and joint activities with suppliers
- Drive continuous improvements throughout the customer journey with a focus on growth, profitability, and customer value
Who We Are Looking For
You are a commercially driven and analytical person motivated by turning insights into concrete business results. You enjoy taking responsibility, creating structure, and building long-term relationships, while being able to switch between strategic work and operational execution.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Have at least five years of experience in Category Management or Category Sales, preferably within MDA or a related industry
- Have a good understanding of sales in both physical and digital channels
- Have experience with campaign planning, pricing, and assortment development
- Are accustomed to working in a data-driven manner and have strong analytical skills
- Have experience leading cross-functional collaborations and creating engagement among various stakeholders
- Hold a post-secondary education in economics, management, sales, or another relevant field
- Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
