About the Role

Francks Kylindustri specializes in the installation, service, and maintenance of cooling, freezing, and heating systems for industry, real estate, and commercial operations. The company offers energy-efficient solutions for industrial and commercial cooling throughout the Nordic region. As a CAD Drafter at Francks Kylindustri, you will play a central role in both the estimation phase and the subsequent design phase. You will work closely with your team to produce detailed drawings and contribute to the success of projects from start to finish. You will become part of a ten-person team consisting of project managers, CAD drafters, and engineers specializing in electrical, HVAC, and piping.

We are looking for someone who is social, proactive, and thrives in a team environment. You have experience with CAD drafting and want to be involved throughout the entire process, from estimation to final design. Knowledge of cooling or HVAC systems is a plus.

The assignment begins as a consultancy role through us, with the ambition to transition into a permanent employment position at Francks Kylindustri after 6 months.

Responsibilities

The role involves responsibility for CAD drafting and 3D modeling, as well as performing calculations and technical documentation for cooling, freezing, and heating systems. You will be involved in the entire process from estimation to final design and scheduling.

  • Create design drawings in MagiCAD and model in 3D.
  • Perform pressure and flow calculations.
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Conduct estimation work for new projects.
  • Participate in construction meetings and scheduling.
  • Contribute to flow calculations within systems.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as HVAC, Building Technology, or Mechanical Engineering. Alternatively, equivalent work experience.
  • Very good proficiency in CAD.
  • Knowledge of pressure and flow calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of refrigeration technology.
  • Education in Thermodynamics.
  • Education in Mechanical Engineering.
