Job Description
Are you a confident, driven, and positive person who understands industrial maintenance? Do you want to make a difference for the environment and contribute to the green transition? Gasum is now looking for an engaged Maintenance Manager to join our Project & Biogas Production team!
Gasum is a leading player in the Nordic energy transition and an expert in the gas sector. Together with our partners, we promote the development towards a carbon-neutral future by offering cleaner energy and sustainable solutions for industry, shipping, and road transport. Over the next few years, we are expanding our biogas production and building more facilities—a thrilling journey where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference every day.
In the role of Maintenance Manager, you will have a varied daily routine where you support our plant operators with technical guidance. You will lead maintenance investment projects as well as smaller new investments from start to finish, while keeping an eye on the projects' financial and safety KPIs.
Since safety always comes first for us, you will actively participate in safety inspections and drive continuous improvements in health, environment, and safety (HSE) according to the Plan-Do-Check-Act principle. Finally, you will contribute to budgeting and be responsible for verifying and approving invoices for external maintenance services based on your allocated budget and approval rights.
This is a specialist role without direct line or personnel management responsibility.
As our new Maintenance Manager, you will report directly to the Senior Maintenance Manager. Our primary base and office are in Linköping, but for the right candidate, Stockholm or Gothenburg also work excellently as we offer a flexible hybrid setup where you can alternate between office work and working from home. Since our facilities are located in several places, the role requires significant travel, primarily to our facilities in Sweden and Denmark.
We warmly welcome your application!
Application deadline: 2026-08-19
For information: The recruitment is a collaboration between Gasum and Randstad. If you have questions about the recruitment process and the position, you are welcome to contact Simona Möller via email: [email protected].
Selection and interviews will take place after the summer holidays, starting in week 33.
Responsibilities

- Arrange and organize spare part availability and/or storage in coordination with Gasum's overall spare parts warehouse.
- Keep spare parts inventory data updated in the plant management system (asset management system).
- Provide support for process troubleshooting as needed, in coordination with OEM support.
- Fill in and substitute for your colleagues within control systems as needed.
- Act as the main point of contact for all stakeholders in related projects.
- Participate in budget formulation.
- Check and approve invoices in accordance with company policy. Verify and check the accuracy of invoices for external maintenance services.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in the role, we look for the following profile:
- At least a University of Applied Sciences degree or equivalent technical education.
- At least 1–3 years of experience from a similar role in maintenance, process, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience working with modern maintenance systems.
- Fluent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Good ability to understand process and technical documentation.
- Basic mandatory licenses for the role.
- Willingness to travel for work.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically within biogas.
To succeed in the role, you are an independent problem solver who enjoys collaborating with various parties, from suppliers to internal teams. You are solution- and result-oriented and always maintain a strong focus on safety and quality.
