About the role

Are you a nurse looking for independent and varied work ranging from intensive rehabilitation to end-of-life care? We are now looking for two new colleagues to our short-term care unit, Gråberget.

The short-term care units in the City of Gothenburg support patients when they need to regain, maintain, or improve their ability to manage daily life, thereby facilitating a return to their own homes. The unit also cares for patients waiting for a place in care and housing services or patients in the final stages of life. Within the operations of a short-term care unit, there is a steady flow of patients with admissions and discharges. You will work in an interprofessional team where occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and nurses collaborate.

You will work 38.25 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours, although evening shifts are also common.

About you

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. It is meritorious if you have experience in, for example, palliative care, psychiatry, or another area that the employer considers relevant for the operations. You have relevant professional experience, preferably within municipal health and social care at the primary care level or equivalent. A B-driver's license is a requirement for the position.

Since the work as a nurse with us is independent, you have the ability to make decisions within the framework of your assignment or in dialogue with colleagues. You take responsibility for your and the joint tasks with the patient in focus. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You are flexible and can quickly adapt to new situations and unexpected events. Furthermore, you have good communication skills and can adapt your information according to the situation and the patient's needs.
