Your Mission

As a system integrator, you will belong to the Technology Department. The department's task is to provide FRA with the technical systems needed for operations. The department develops, maintains, and deploys new technical systems as well as manages the operation and maintenance of existing systems.

In the role of system integrator, your main responsibilities are to develop and maintain the agency's container platforms. This means you will build and manage the infrastructure for various Kubernetes clusters. You will also help further develop and build upon the Kubernetes platform, collaborating with dedicated development teams within the agency. The Kubernetes clusters are used by internal customers with whom you will have extensive dialogue to identify and meet their various needs.

In this role, we also value your personal development and staying up-to-date within your field of work, which means that environmental scanning is occasionally included in your tasks.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Experience in system development
• Good knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
• Good knowledge and experience with Linux-based server administration
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Good knowledge of GitOps methodology and tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux)
• Basic networking knowledge
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Technical post-secondary education
• Good/advanced knowledge of networking
• Good knowledge of virtualization
• Experience with container storage (Ceph and various types of CSI drivers)

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approximately 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security classification. Before employment, you will undergo a security clearance in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act. Employment entails an obligation to be mobilized in times of war.
