Description

Do you want to create communication that engages and conveys content that makes a difference in people's daily lives? Our colleague is moving on to another position within the municipality, and we are therefore looking for their successor – a communicator who wants to continue strengthening the dialogue with the municipality's residents, with a special focus on social media and youth influence.

The Culture and Leisure Administration consists of approximately one hundred employees within the areas of culture and leisure. The cultural side consists of the units Culture House, Library, and Music and Arts School, while the leisure side consists of the units for Youth Open Meeting Places, Sports Facilities, and Outdoor Life. The administration is responsible for ensuring that the municipality's cultural and leisure activities are conducted in accordance with the municipality's vision and the goals and guidelines decided by the Municipal Council, as well as the regulations applicable to the activities.

Responsibilities

• Create and publish content for social media, web, and newsletters.
• Drive and develop communication with a focus on young target groups, including through Youth in Vänersborg | Vänersborg Municipality.
• Produce photos, video, and simpler graphic material.
• Plan, execute, and follow up on communication efforts and campaigns.
• Support operations in matters concerning communication and participation.
• Work with advertising and visibility in social channels.

Qualifications

• Hold a university/college degree of at least 3 years with a focus on communication, or education that the employer considers equivalent.
• Are a confident and creative content producer who can understand and communicate the content of operations in a target-group-adapted manner.
• Have experience and a good sense for communication and tone in social media.
• Enjoy and have a good ability to meet people and create engagement, especially among young people.
• Are self-initiating, structured, and collaborate easily with others.
• Are motivated by being part of driving development.
• Valid B-driver's license.

Other Information

The contact person is on vacation and will be available for questions on-site from July 27–31 and August 17–21.

Initial team meetings are planned to be held September 1–3 as part of the selection process for interviews.

An extract from the criminal record will be requested.

A personality test may be conducted as part of the selection process.
