Controller for Social Services in Alingsås Municipality

Welcome to Alingsås! As an employee in our municipality, you have all the opportunities to contribute to the development of operations and your workplace. With nearly 4,000 employees, we are large enough to drive change and small enough for everyone to have an influence and room for their ideas. There is room for innovators here. Together we create Alingsås!

The Social Services Department covers authority exercises and execution for the target groups of children and young people, persons with substance abuse issues, persons with mental health issues, newly arrived immigrants, persons in need of social assistance, and support due to domestic violence. The department is divided into the Adult Division, the Youth Division, and the Administration Division. We have a process-oriented way of working where collaboration, development, and continuous improvements lead us forward.

We are now looking for two controllers for the Administration Division. The division gathers the department's support functions and consists of about twenty employees distributed across two units. We work closely together to support the operations. Within the division, we have employees with a high sense of service, long experience, and a great commitment to their mission, and you can always count on getting a helping hand.

When you start with us, we offer you among other things:

  • A dynamic work environment with the opportunity to influence and develop operations.
  • Support and resources to succeed in your role.
  • Opportunity for holiday exchange.
  • Wellness allowance and favorable discounts via E-passi.
  • A secure employment.

We look forward to receiving your application!

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience of controller work in the public sector.
